SILVER CITY SONDER

Souls of Sonder is my way of documenting the passing moments that shape our shared human experience. Through long exposures and street portraiture, I capture movement, transience, and the subtle interactions we often overlook.
Aberdeen is my hometown, a place where the granite buildings of my childhood remain unchanged while people come and go. That contrast is at the heart of this work: the solidity of place against the fleeting presence of those who move through it. Working with available light and extended exposures, I create softened figures and blurred outlines, reflecting the way we remember and perceive others, not always in sharp focus, but as impressions that linger.

In a world obsessed with crisp details and instant capture, this collection offers a different perspective—one that embraces uncertainty, imperfection, and the quiet beauty of passing time.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my work. I hope these images offer you a moment to pause, reflect, and see the world a little differently.
